Companionship Care

Companionship Care

We offer companionship for those who want to avoid being alone. We can make lasting memories and help you enjoy your favourite places.

Why is companionship care important?

We believe that everyone deserves company, no matter what. That’s why we’ve created our companionship care service to ensure everyone has someone to talk to.

Lack of companionship can lead to loneliness and isolation, which are considerable problems in and of themselves, but they can also lead to health issues such as depression, sleep problems, hypertension, stress and mental health problems.

Our companionship carers

Our compassionate companions are always at your service, ready to provide support and human connection. Whether for you or your loved one, our companionship care assistants will be there with open arms.

A friendly face and a listening ear can make all the difference in your happiness and well-being.

Our companions, often becoming dear friends to our clients, provide a safe space for sharing daily experiences at home and out and about, fostering a sense of belonging and companionship.

What do companions do?

Companionship is a choice

There is no wrong answer when it comes to choosing the amount or type of support needed; it’s entirely up to you and your family member.

We are happy to chat and work out a plan that best suits your needs. If there’s something specific you have in mind, please don’t hesitate to let us know – we’re always happy to try new things!

If you’re unsure about how to incorporate these into your daily routine, please feel free to give us a call. We’d be happy to work out a plan with you!

<< SCROLL >>

Our care assistants can help brighten your day. They will become recognised and welcome faces who give you quality time and can offer an understanding and interesting conversation.

They are here to relieve you from your responsibilities so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Perhaps you or a loved one feels lonely despite being surrounded by friends and family. Or maybe there’s no one nearby to connect with. Regardless of the situation, spending time one-on-one has a ton of benefits.

Maybe you or your friend or relative wants to make new connections but lacks the confidence to join a new friendship or hobby group alone. A companionship care assistant could help identify local clubs and attend them with you.

Having a few health problems can make it difficult to get out and about. This can leave someone feeling socially isolated. Our companionship care assistants can help you or your loved one physically to get out and explore the local park, shopping centre, or wherever you’d like to go. We will assess your needs to decide what level of support is needed, and we can then provide you with a care plan tailored specifically to your circumstances.

Whatever level of care you require, our companionship care assistants are friendly, caring and professional. Hygea is also CQC registered, fully insured and ready to help.
